FAQs
Is parking available nearby? Yes, the clinic is located immediately next to a car park. You can park here for free for 3 hours: there is no need to pay & display, as the car park times your entrance and exit through an automatic number plate recognition system.
How do I find your clinic? Our clinic is located in one of the upstairs rooms in the Body & Soul Beauty Clinic, just off of the Borough Green high street. Please enter via the doorway on the side of the shops.
What do I need to wear to my appointment? Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in - ideally clothes that are loose-fitting and/or stretchy. This is so we can move you through the full range of motion required to get you feeling better! You may be asked to undress down to your underwear for an initial examination, but this is not always necessary.
Is osteopathy suitable for children and babies? Yes, all people of all ages can find osteopathy helpful for a variety of ailments. We are more than happy to see your little one at Borough Green Osteopaths. We have seen some babies as young as a few days old and also treat children, teenagers and adults. Osteopathy is perfectly safe and suitable for babies, and may assist with digestive issues, difficulty settling/sleeping, or just checking that all is as it should be after a stressful/traumatic birth.
What are your charges? Our charges are £50 per session, for both osteopathy and acupuncture. The first appointment will include a private consultation and thorough examination, followed by treatment - this is also charged at £50 per session. If you would like to have a combined session where both osteopathic and acupuncture treatments are carried out in a single appointment, please get in touch to ask for more information on charges.
Is acupuncture booked separately? We can add an acupuncture treatment onto a standard osteopathy visit if you wish, and acupuncture treatments can also be booked separately. If you are seeking regional acupuncture in one or two locations, then usually we have enough time to do this in a standard osteopathy appointment. However, if you would like full body acupuncture this would need to be booked separately to allow enough time for a thorough treatment.
How long should I allow for appointments? Please allow up to 40 minutes for your first appointment with Borough Green Osteopaths. For standard appointments following that, please allow up to 30 minutes: if a longer appointment is required, your osteopath will let you know. We have a waiting room available downstairs if you arrive early.
What are your opening hours? We are open Monday 10am - 8pm, Tuesday to Friday 9am - 8pm, and Saturday 9:30am - 12:00pm. Please text/call for any availability enquiries or to book an appointment on 07816 336275.
Do you accept patients funded by insurance companies? Our policy for patients funded by insurance is that you settle each visit’s fees for yourself, and we provide the resources you need to claim this back from your insurance provider (usually an invoice receipt). Regrettably, we are unable to accept direct insurance payments from patients funded by BUPA at this time - we will inform you when this becomes available.
Which forms of payment do you accept? We accept cash, and all credit/debit cards including AmEx.
Do you offer home visits? Currently we are not able to offer home visits to new or existing patients.
Do you have disabled access? Unfortunately we are unable to provide disabled access to our clinic, as we are located upstairs on the first floor of the building.
